Oakville Transit expands Ride On-Demand service

Oakville Transit continues to enhance its Ride On-Demand (ROD) services to meet the needs of customers and the community.

Starting today, expanded ROD service includes: 

• Addition of the Bronte GO station as a destination for the Palermo West/Bronte Creek zone, improving regional connectivity for customers. 
• Extension of ROD Southeast zone service hours to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday to meet customer demand in the evening. 
• Addition of service on statutory holidays for North and Southeast Oakville ROD zones. Statutory holiday service will mirror Sunday service hours already in place (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.).

These updates come following a service review in response to customer feedback, as Oakville Transit works to continuously improve its Ride On-Demand service to meet the evolving needs of customers.

• Palermo West/Bronte Creek

Additionally, ROD Late Night Service is also available as a hub-to-home service from the Oakville GO station only.
