Construction at Stewart/Kerr Streets impacting Routes 1 and 15 from September to December 2026

Road work at the intersection of Stewart Street and Kerr Street may cause Transit delays between September 28 and December 21, 2026.

Construction details

• Oakville Transit customers travelling on Route 1 – Trafalgar may experience delays due to overnight roadwork at the intersection of Kerr Street and Stewart Street. 
• Oakville Transit customers travelling on Route 15 – Bridge will be detoured due to roadwork at the intersection of Kerr Street and Stewart Street. 
• One-way traffic will be maintained along Kerr St. through the intersection nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. 
• Access to Stewart Street will not be permitted from Kerr Street

Transit impacts 

• Route 1 buses will remain on its regular route; no bus stops will be missed.
• Route 15 buses will be detoured for the duration of this project and will temporarily not service bus stops along:
  • Shepherd Road
  • Queen Mary Drive
  • Stewart Street
