Canada Day 2024 Service Updates

Wednesday, June 19, 2024

On July 1, 2024, Oakville Transit will be operating a holiday service from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Holiday service is the equivalent of a Sunday service schedule. Schedule details are available on the Schedules and Maps page.

Canada Day shuttle bus service

The Town of Oakville is pleased to offer free Oakville Transit shuttle services to and from Bronte GO station. Shuttle service will begin at 3:45 p.m., running every 10 minutes, providing safe and convenient access to the event due to road closure and no on-site parking.

Shuttles will pick up passengers at Bronte GO on the Wyecroft Road side and drop attendees off at the corner of Marine Drive and Jones Street.

The last shuttle to the park will leave Bronte GO station at 9:30 p.m. Once the fireworks have ended, the return shuttle to Bronte GO Station will begin.

Accessibility

All shuttles are accessible, wheelchair and stroller-friendly.

Care-A-van services are also available free of charge throughout the duration of the event. To request care-A-van services for Oakville’s Canada Day event, please email events@oakville.ca by June 24, 2024.
