Route 19 detour and temporary stop relocation effective June 29, 2025

Effective June 29 to August 29, 2025, Route 19 will be on detour due to construction on McCraney Street East. During this time, Route 19 will no longer travel along McCraney Street East between Trafalgar Road and Sixth Line. Buses will detour by travelling on Sixth Line and Sewell Drive before returning on their regular route. 

Temporary bus stops will be installed along Sixth Line and Sewell Drive on both side of the road to accommodate passengers. Temporary stops will be located at the following intersections:

• Sewell Drive and Queens Avenue
• Sewell Drive and Redbank Crescent 
• Sixth Line between Culham Street and Sewell Drive

While these temporary stops were selected to minimize disruption, passengers with accessibility concerns are encouraged to contact Oakville Transit Customer Service for support or travel planning assistance. 

Due to the temporary detour, minor delays may occur.
