New bus stop #3454 at Trafalgar Road and Threshing Mill Boulevard in service December 23, 2025

We’re excited to announce the new addition of bus stop #3454 at Trafalgar Road north of Threshing Mill Boulevard, effective December 23, 2025. This addition improves transit access for our community and strengthens connectivity along Route 1 – Trafalgar and Route 37 – Glenorchy.

What’s happening?

• Construction began in October 2025 and is now complete.
• A temporary sidewalk and tactile plates have been installed for accessibility.
• Pedestrian and driver signage is in place to enhance safety.

Looking ahead

Throughout 2026, we’ll continue to enhance this location with:

• Painted crosswalks
• Additional pedestrian safety features
• Improved accessibility upgrades

Schedule updates

Although the bus stop is active and in service, updates to the Oakville Transit website, app, and online schedules will be reflected effective March 1, 2026.
