Route 14A detour notice for the Burlington Chilly Half Marathon on Sunday, March 1, 2026

Route 14/ 14A Lakeshore West (southbound to Oakville GO) will be detouring around southbound lane closures on Burloak Drive on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Burlington Chilly Half-Marathon. 

Detour - 14A to Oakville GO (southbound)

Burloak Drive (southbound) will be closed between Spruce Avenue and Lakeshore Road West. The detour route will travel east on Rebecca Street, south on Great Lakes Boulevard to Lakeshore Road West and then resume its regular route.

The following southbound stops on Burloak Drive will be out of service:

• Stop 2467 – Burloak Drive and Eaton Avenue
• Stop 2468 – Burloak Drive and Spruce Avenue
• Stop 2469 – Burloak Drive and Randolph Crescent
• Stop 2471 – Burloak Drive and Winston Road
• Stop 2472 – Burloak Drive and Lakeshore Road West

Regular service - 14A to Appleby GO (northbound)

Northbound lanes on Burloak Drive will remain open, and buses will travel their regular routes via Lakeshore Road West and north on Burloak Drive. 

Minor marshal-controlled delays are possible.
