Construction work will take place on Charles Cornwall Avenue at Bronte Road on Saturday, June 6, 2026 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
During this time Charles Cornwall Avenue will be fully closed between Bronte Road and Queens Plate Road.
The construction work supports the installation of underground services and is being carried out in coordination with the Region of Halton to maintain safe access to nearby facilities.
Impact to Oakville Transit service
Oakville Transit routes are operating as scheduled; however, traffic congestion related to construction may result in delays to multiple routes across the network, including Route 6 – Upper Middle, and Route 13 – Westoak Trail.
Ride On Demand and care A van
Customers should expect possible delays due to increased traffic congestion near the QEW and surrounding road network.
Traffic impacts
There will be no access to Charles Cornwall Avenue during closure
Traffic to and from the subdivision will be detoured via Saw Whet Boulevard
