QEW 16 Mile Creek Bridge Project may cause delays May 25 to October 23, 2026

Construction will be underway on the QEW eastbound (Toronto-bound) 16 Mile Creek Bridge as part of a Ministry of Transportation project.

Key impacts:

• The Dorval Drive South QEW East on ramp will be closed.
• A signed detour will be in place.
• Lane closures on the QEW eastbound will occur during the day, overnight, and on weekends.
• All customers are encouraged to allow extra travel time.

Transit service:

• Oakville Transit routes are operating as scheduled; however, traffic congestion related to construction may result in delays. 

Ride On Demand and care A van:

• Customers should expect possible delays due to increased traffic congestion near the QEW and surrounding road network.
