Santa is taking over the bus routes!

The annual Oakville Santa Claus Parade will take place Saturday, November 14 (rain or shine). The parade begins at 9 a.m. at the intersection of Lakeshore Road East and Reynolds Street, Downtown Oakville. Parking will be limited and streets will be blocked off to regular traffic for the duration of the parade. Temporary detours for routes 1 and 14/14A will be in effect and some bus stops will not be serviced.

A free Oakville Transit Santa Shuttle will operate from the Oakville GO Station to the Trafalgar Park Community Centre as an easy and reliable way to access Downtown Oakville to watch the parade.

Free Santa Shuttle service from Oakville GO

Avoid parking hassles by taking Oakville Transit’s free Santa Shuttle from the Oakville GO station to the parade, running every five to 10 minutes from 8 to 11:30 a.m. along Dorval Drive to Trafalgar Park Community Centre, with no stops in between.

The final shuttle from the Oakville GO station to view the full parade will depart at 9:15 a.m. Shuttles running after 9:15 a.m. risk missing parts of the parade.

Return service from the parade to the Oakville GO Station will remain available until 11:30 a.m.
