On January 20, the province outlined steps to gradually ease public health measures starting January 31, 2022. We’re reviewing the impacts of the announcement on our programs and services. We will provide updated information as soon as possible.
Road construction activity can have an impact on transit service by slowing down traffic flow, and delays can be experienced. Lane restriction and road closure may require buses to detour, and temporarily close or relocate bus stops. We encourage our customers to plan ahead, and we promise to get you there safely.
Pay attention to any temporary bus stop signage and proceed safely within the temporary pedestrian walkway at all times. Buses will be stopping in the through traffic lane to service the bus stops. Use only the front door when exiting the bus. Always be aware of your surroundings within the consturction zone.
Halton Region will be widening Trafalgar Road to six lanes with new bike lanes, sidewalks and bus stop infrastructure from Leighland Avenue to north of Hays Boulevard. During the construction, bus shelters will be removed and some bus stops will be relocated temporarily. Check alerts posted on BusFinder for delays and temporary detours caused by the construction.
