Further Ride On-Demand service expansion starting May 1, 2025

Oakville Transit’s Ride On-Demand service area is expanding, starting May 1, 2025. This new service area serves the area of Dundas Street and Harasym Trail and is part of the existing Ride On-Demand Palermo West/Bronte Creek service area utilizing the same hub destinations Glen Abbey Community Centre and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

Ride On-Demand is a flexible, shared-ride service. Customers can request a ride to travel during operating hours from one address to another within the designated zone and to transit hubs in the same zone to transfer with fixed route service. Trips can be booked using the Oakville Transit On-Demand mobile app, online or by phone.

About the Oakville Transit Ride On-Demand service:

• Ride On-Demand is a shared ride service. Wait and travel times may vary depending on demand for the service and the drivers’ schedule.  
• Customers can travel from one address to another within the designated zone and to our transit hubs in the same zone. Customers may not have a direct trip as the driver picks-up/drops-off other customers along the way.
• Minimum trip distance of 400 metres is required per booking.
• Book your ride quickly and easily – online, by phone or mobile app.
