New Transit Facility Construction Update

Construction update

The new transit facility for Oakville Transit is well underway at its new location at 430 Wyecroft.

Construction began in February 2010, and is slated for completion in March 2011.

The new facility will accommodate all functions for the transit department, including administration, operations, maintenance and storage. 

Once completed, the LEED Certified building on the 15-acre site will provide bus storage for 175 buses, and set Oakville Transit on the path for the future; continuing to bring Oakville residents more connections, more choice and more convenience.
