    <title>Make the switch from tickets to PRESTO</title>

        <p>Adult tickets are no longer available for purchase. Any remaining adult tickets can be used through to March 31, 2013.</p>
        <p>As of April 1, 2013, adult tickets will not be accepted on Oakville Transit buses (except care-A-van buses).</p>
        <h2>Make the switch to PRESTO before March 31, and receive a free PRESTO card.* </h2>
        <p>Email <a  href="mailto:transit@oakville.ca">transit@oakville.ca</a> with the subject PRESTO. </p>
        <p>*Limited number of cards available.</p>
        <h2>Purchase an adult PRESTO card</h2>
        <p>If you are paying an adult fare, you simply purchase your card, load it up with money and you're ready to go.</p>
        <p>You can purchase a PRESTO card:</p>
        <p>Online at <a  title="Links to PRESTO website" target="_blank" href="http://www.prestocard.ca">prestocard.ca</a> (it may take up to five business days to receive your new card in the mail) <br />

        Iroquois Ridge Library, 1051 Glenashton Drive <br />

        Oakville, Bronte and Clarkson GO Transit stations </p>
        <p>Student and senior PRESTO cards are also available.</p>
        <h2>Fares</h2>
        <p>Load up your card with money and then when you ride transit, the trip fare is deducted from your card. There is a built-in loyalty program and Oakville Transit riders will receive fare discounts based on the number of rides taken and the value of the fares accumulated within the calendar month.</p>
        <h2>Co-fare discounts</h2>
        <p>Under PRESTO, the co-fare discounts which currently exist between Oakville Transit and GO Transit will continue.</p>

    <title>Enjoy more freedom with the Student Freedom Pass this holiday!</title>

        <p>To help students get around this holiday season, the Oakville Transit Student Freedom Pass can be used all day, every day.</p>
        <p>All day use for December freedom pass is valid from December 22 to 31, 2012, with the January freedom pass valid from January 1 to 6, 2013.</p>

    <title>Oakville Transit relaunches website with new design and enhanced features</title>

        <p>Oakville Transit rolled out its newly revamped website today, introducing a new design, new functionality and new opportunities for the public to make better connections with their local public transit system.</p>
        <p>“This new website makes it faster and easier for residents to find what they’re looking for from bus schedules and route maps to important information about service changes,” Mayor Rob Burton said. “Give the new website a ride and let us know what you think.”</p>
        <p>Oakville Transit’s new customer-focused website is organized according to the information customers access most often: </p>
        <ul>
            <li>Schedules and maps — look up a schedule or view a Google map to find your bus stop</li>
            <li>Fares — all you need to know about cash fares and the new PRESTO card</li>
            <li>Accessibility — learn about care-A-van and other accessible services</li>
            <li>Riding with Us — everything you need to know while riding the bus</li>
            <li>Trip Planner — let us help you plan your trip with Google Trip Planner</li>
            <li>News and Service Updates — what you need to know, when you need it</li>
        </ul>
        <p>New and enhanced features include: </p>

            <li>Accessible route schedules</li>
            <li>Accessible feedback form</li>
            <li>Print-friendly route schedules</li>

    <title>Oakville Transit fare increase effective January 1, 2013</title>

        <p>The fare increase will affect the following fare medias:</p>
        </h2>
        <p>Adult monthly pass: $99 <br />
        Adult PRESTO: $2.70 <br />
        Student tickets: 10 for $22 <br />
        Student monthly pass: $65 <br />
        GO co-fare: $0.70</p>
        <p>Cash and senior fares remain the same.</p>

        <p>Reminder — Decommission of adult tickets</p>
        </h2>
        <p>Sales of adult tickets are discontinued as of December 31, 2012. Adult tickets may be used until March 31, 2013.</p>
