Purchase an adult PRESTO card

If you are paying an adult fare, you simply purchase your card, load it up with money and you're ready to go.

You can purchase a PRESTO card:

Online at prestocard.ca (it may take up to five business days to receive your new card in the mail)

Student and senior PRESTO cards are also available.

Fares

Load up your card with money and then when you ride transit, the trip fare is deducted from your card. There is a built-in loyalty program and Oakville Transit riders will receive fare discounts based on the number of rides taken and the value of the fares accumulated within the calendar month.

Co-fare discounts

Under PRESTO, the co-fare discounts which currently exist between Oakville Transit and GO Transit will continue.

Adult PRESTO: $2.70
Student tickets: 10 for $22
Student monthly pass: $65
GO co-fare: $0.70

Cash and senior fares remain the same.

Sales of adult tickets are discontinued as of December 31, 2012. Adult tickets may be used until March 31, 2013.
