Fare Policies
- Child = 0 to 5 years
- Student = 6 to18 years
- Adult = 19 to 64 years
- Senior = 65+ years
- Cash: have exact cash ready. Drivers do not carry change.
- Tickets: purchase them before your trip from one of our ticket agents. Put them into the farebox when you board.
- Day Passes/Monthly Passes: purchased at a ticket agent, you must show these to the driver each time you board. Monthly passes are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- GO with GUS/GO Train Tickets/Passes: When you are planning to travel on a GO Train, you may ride the bus for $0.65 to or from the GO Station. Show your valid GO Train ticket/pass to your driver each time you board. Deposit $0.65 into the farebox or show your valid GO with GUS pass to your driver when travelling to or from a GO Station only. GO Group passes do not qualify for $0.65 rides.
- Mississauga Transit/Burlington Transit: transfer free! Transfers must be time validated by the other system and not expired. Hamilton Street Railway transfers are not accepted.
- Oakville Transit only accepts Oakville Transit tickets and passes.
- Transfers: Transfers are time expired. The driver will tear the transfer for the expired time at the start of the route trip - a 2 hour transfer window, during which time passengers may travel in any direction, stopping over if they like, until the transfer has expired. Transfers are considered void if mutilated.
Standard Policies
- Shirts and shoes are required
- Only working dogs are allowed on buses. Other small pets may be transported in steel/plastic cages which are locked.
- In line skates must be removed before boarding the bus.
- You may bring bicycles aboard one of our buses that is equipped with a bike rack on the front of the bus. Bicycles and other large objects are not permitted inside the bus for the safety of other passengers.
- If you are standing, remain behind the driver's compartment.
For passenger safety and comfort please:
- do not carry on lengthy conversations with the drivers
- do not smoke, eat and/or drink on the buses
- do not exit from the front door, please use the rear door
- do not leave your child in his/her stroller - strollers must be folded
