Schedule Changes - July 4, 2010

Starting July 4, 2010, several route schedules will be adjusted.  Some schedule changes will offer better connections to other routes and to GO Transit while other changes will allow Oakville Transit to increase frequency and reduce wait times.

The changes are as follows:

Route 1 - The frequency of trips on this route will increase to every 20 minutes on weekends and holidays from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Route 2 and 6 - The morning schedules for these two routes have been changed to allow for improved GO Train connections.

Route 3 - The weekday afternoon schedule has been adjusted on this route to allow for improved GO Train connections.

Route 13 - There are new all day weekday and weekend schedules for this route.

Route 14 - The portion of this route that travelled into the Burlington downtown terminal, Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. is discontinued. Route 14 will now travel as far as Lakeside Village Plaza only.

Route 64 - This "GO Special" route is discontinued. In its place, Route 14 will make its first daily trip from Bronte Village (Lakeshore/Jones) at 5:20 a.m. and will continue on the regular route 14 routing to the Oakville GO station.

School specials - School bus specials will not be in operation July and August. These buses will start again on September 7, 2010.
