Bus it... across town. Schedule Changes.Starting March 7, 2010, several route schedules will be adjusted. Some schedule changes will offer better connections to other routes and to GO Transit; other changes will allow Oakville Transit to increase frequency and reduce wait times; and yet other adjustments will see full time service to the Winston Business Park area. The changes are as follows: Route 1 - This route along Trafalgar Road will provide a 30 minute frequency after 7:25 p.m. Monday to Friday, and all day Saturday, Sunday and holidays. The increased frequency will improve connections to GO trains. Route 2 - This route along Lakeshore will be extended east from Ford Drive to Upper Middle Road and Bristol Circle servicing the AMC theatre and entertainment area with connections to Route 6. Route 5 - This route along Dundas Street will provide 30 minute service in the evenings Monday to Friday, Saturdays and Sundays and holidays and 40 minute service during rush hour. Route 6 - This route will now service the AMC theatre and entertainment area, and the Winston Business Park via Bristol Circle, seven days a week. Route 6 will also extend north to Dundas Street, across from the Silver City movie theatre. Route 19 - This route schedule is being adjusted during the morning and evening rush hours to improve service reliability and overall connection times at the Oakville GO Station. Routes 10, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 15, 26, 31, 102, 190 - These route schedules will be adjusted starting March 7, 2010, in anticipation of GO Transit's April 3, 2010 train schedule changes. Please check your route schedule for changes. Route 14 & 24 - Some adjustments have been made to Route 14 at Hopedale Mall and Route 24 at Sheridan College to improve route timing and connections. |
